Emma Ashworth

My name is Emma Ashworth and I am the allocated Social Prescriber for Rye Medical Centre, Ferry Road Health Centre, Northiam/Broad Oak Surgeries and Battle Health Centre/Oldwood Surgeries.

As a Social Prescriber, I work with individuals holistically looking at their lifestyle, home environment, finances and emotional wellbeing, giving them time to talk about what matters to them. Working together, we come up with some goals for them to focus on. This allows them to address various areas of their life, whilst we provide support, guidance and encouragement to make positive changes in small steps. I aim to signpost, link and refer the individual to services, organisations, groups and activities that could benefit their overall health and empower them to take control of their own wellbeing.
