Defibrillators

By using a defibrillator before an ambulance arrives, you can significantly increase someone’s chance of survival. The first priority is to call 999 but if you have someone else with you, the call handler is likely to ask them to get the nearest defibrillator.

Our PPG has created a list of locations:

  • Robertsbridge:
    • By the Salehurst Halt
    • By the Vet’s entrance on the High Street
    • At the Train Station, inside the ticket office
    • Brightling Road, on the left, between the railway line and Mill Rise
    • Heathfield Gardens (in the garden of house number 44)
    • Sports Hall at Robertsbridge Community College (RCC)
    • Recreational ground, by the public toilets
  • Brightling:
    • On the wall of the Village Hall
    • Opposite the Darwell Hole car park
  • Mountfield:
    • On the left side of the Village Hall, as you face the front door
    • On the junction of Solomon’s Lane and Hoath Hill
    • On the outside wall of the Mountfield Heath School at John’s Cross
  • Battle:
    • At the Ambulance Response Post, High Street, TN33 0EE
    • At Battle Memorial Hall, High Street, TN33 0AQ
    • At Battle Recreation Ground, North Trade Road, TN33 0HB
    • At the Train Station, Station Approach, TN33 0DE
    • At Tesco Express, Battle Hill, TN33 0BN
    • At Marley Stores, 18 Coronation Gardens, TN33 0DW
    • On Hastings Road, outside no. 77, TN33 0TF
    • Inside Battle Sports Centre, Claverham Community College, North Trade Road, Battle, TN33 0HT – opening evenings and weekends – check opening hours on the top right of their website battlesportscentre.com
