Our retired GP, Dr Rob McNeilly, started a project in 2006 for a new health centre for Robertsbridge. Here is an update of our progress:
- Planning has been submitted and we are awaiting the outcome
- The location is Station Road, Robertsbridge, next to Culverwells. Access will be via a new road.
- The Health Centre will have six consulting rooms, five rooms for Rural Rother PCN for community health facilities, plus 28 parking spaces. Discussions are also underway with St Michael’s Hospice about using the facilities.
- If the planning application is approved in April, we expect to be on site in the summer and for the health centre to be open in autumn 2025.
