Flu vaccines

Flu vaccination is available every year on the NHS to help protect adults and children at risk of flu and its complications.

We run a flu vaccination clinic at the start of the season usually around October.

All eligible patients will be sent a text message inviting them to book an appointment online. If you do not have a mobile phone, please call our reception team to book on 01580 880790.

Am I eligible?

Find out if you are eligible and read other information about the flu vaccine on the NHS website: Flu vaccine – NHS

On the day of your vaccine:

  • If you or a household contact have recently developed Covid symptoms, including a cough, fever, loss of taste or smell, please stay at home and do not attend the clinic
  • Please wear clothing that allows easy access to your preferred upper arm
  • Should you feel unwell, please talk to a member of the team

Children’s Clinics

We will be arranging separate children’s clinics. We will be in touch with the parents/carers of those eligible with dates. Children in primary school will be immunised by the School Nursing Team at school. For more information about the children’s flu vaccine – visit the NHS website: Children’s flu vaccine – NHS
